I don't think they trust Reggie Bush or Mike Bell with the season on the line.

It's just a symbolic gesture and he won't dress. Deuce was with the team thru so much and I think they just wanted to include him in this season's highest-ever ascension. Again, he won't dress Saturday.
Saints trust, too, Pierre and Bell plenty. Reggie, too.
    I can assure you.

I can see that, Blitz...but why give him a roster spot if he won't dress? Especially in place of a D-lineman, where they're already thin?

Again, I love Deuce. I'm glad he'll be leading the team out onto the field. But if he's gonna take a playoff roster spot he'd better be able to provide something on the field if necessary.

That being said, I hope he wont' be needed.

He'll be an inactive. He'll take the place of some other inactive who'll be waived and rehired on Sunday.

Yeah, just saw that. Thanks, Michael.

    Concerns alleviated. Let's continue....

Oh fuck, as if I was annoyed enough tonight I turn on ESPN hoping to see an NBA game and instead I am watching the NFL films version of the 1995 AFC Championship game between the Steelers and Colts......and no matter how many times I try to will Quentin Coryatt to hold onto that fucking interception, he drops it every time......

Was it Ernie Mills that stripped that ball from him?

I thought he just dropped it, but it's been a while since I watched that one. Mills have the big catch of the game.

No. It hit Coryatt between the numbers and he dropped it.

I still say FUCK every time I see the highlights of that game and watch that play......

Just think of it as karma catching up this year. If Joe Burnett doesn't drop an even easier one against the Raiders, the Steelers are still playing and you'd be suffering now. :)

To me, the biggest play was Willie Williams' shoe-string tackle on a third-and-2 play when there looked to be all sorts of daylight down the left sideline.
