Analytics wins. No way that guy's available in the sixth round if he didn't beat up women. #value

I trust Mary Kay's reporting, but does this coach realize how he's condemning his own program? If the guy's that much of a piece of shit, isn't it the staff's responsibility to kick off the team for keeps?

    Ask Aaron Hernandez.

    Oops. OK, ask Urban Meyer.

Depends on when it happened. If it happened after his final college game, there's not much they can do about it.

Still, I have never heard of this. They drafted him even they knew of the allegations and that they might have to let him go upon finding out more?
This is either further proof of Browns ineptitude, indication of a difference of opinion between coaching staff and draft decision-makers or both. It also suggests the Browns don't think there's much value in the draft beyond a certain point. On that, they may be accurate.

Anyone think that the League suddenly getting "tough" on people who are violent toward women has more to do with staying in the good graces of moms who decide whether their kid plays football or not? I doubt Mixon is the worst guy, or done the worst thing - in the draft. But it's on video.

Nobody has a problem with executives who lead companies that are fined tens of millions of dollars for wrongdoing by the feds from keeping their gigs. Why the outrage about NFL players? This is our society.
The entire board of directors of Wells Fargo was re-elected this week by shareholders after the bank fraudulently opened bank accounts of unsuspecting customers - an effort that was condoned and encouraged by managers.
The NFL has actively covered up concussion studies, illegally administered painkillers for years, but by all means lets get upset about one person's bad reaction to having the n-word thrown in his face.
