Murdered cellmate of Lawrence Phillips was the cousin of former Jaguars great R. Jay Soward.

  3. Fuck you guys.

    I'm unfriending you both.

And when Casey Hampton gets in the HOF I'm making sure neither of you are invited to Canton.

Taylor takes a ton of shit from Steeler fans, but the guy was the number #1 corner on a team that won two Super Bowls. No way is he HOF, but he was pretty good.

I think all of the players we've mentioned here fall into that category. Very good players who will likely not make it to Canton.

He takes a lot of shit because he was maddeningly inconsistent and he seemed to lead the league in dropped interceptions every year. He had some of the worst games you will ever see a corner play. Sure, the rest of the time he was good and sometimes great, but the ugly ones became far too common the last couple of seasons.

Good player, but the team gave up on him about two years two late.

Polamalu is the only player on that D making the HOF.

It will be interesting to see how the Russell Wilson-Seattle pissing match ends.

I think it's all posturing, typical contract negotiation bullshit by both sides.

Schneider hints he would trade Wilson if they can't reach a deal, Wilson hints that he might play for the Rangers.... I'm guessing it all goes away when he signs a Flacco-sized deal (maybe bigger) and everybody shuts up, but as a Niners fan, I would love to see this go sideways, which is possible if he's truly holding out to be the highest paid QB in the league.

It's all bullshit, capped by the back-end reality that the Seahawks can slap the exclusive tag on Wilson and make it impossible for him to leave anyway. If he wants $25M a year, Seattle wouldn't really even be hurting itself by the higher price of the exclusive tag.

Right. The same can be said about Rivers, but granted, he's several years older.

I'm really curious what kind of a deal he gets. He's done great, but if I'm paying that kind of money for a QB, I want a QB who can put a team on his back and carry them and I don't put Wilson in that category. But when Alex Smith and Romo and Flacco get the crazy deals they've gotten, one has to assume Wilson is going to get a huge contract. I don't see him being stupid enough to agree to something like Kaepernick did.
