I like the way he has them on his middle fingers, just in case a reporter asks him to see them.

5-years, $96 million, $45 million guaranteed for the great Ryan Tannehill...

Somewhere, Russell Wilson's agent is laughing.

    It's a pretty team-friendly deal, though.

Yeah, it's not nearly as bad as it was initially reported. Shocking, I know...

If they cut him next March, they'll owe him nothing beyond the $21.5 million he was paid when he signed. That would seem to be pretty doubtful that they would do that since he's only getting $3.5 million for 2016. So they basically get two years at $25 million to kick the tires. Not that bad.

NFL moves extra point to 15-yard line for 2015 season - NFL.com

The NFL has moved the line of scrimmage for extra-point kicks back to the 15, making it a 33-yard kick instead of a 20-yarder. Two-point conversion attempts will remain at the two-yard line.

Also, defenses can now score two points by returning a failed extra point to the opposing end zone. This counts whether it was an attempt for one or two points.

I like the second change. Not a fan of the first.

Second has been needed for a long time. Is it the same rule as in college?

    The first? Meh ...

Moving the LOS for PAT kick attempts back to the 15 will reduce conversion percentage from 99.5 to about 95.

To make FG/PAT attempts more difficult and reduce the influence of place kicking, they should also put in a rule requiring the spot for kick attempts must be at least 10 (not 7) yards back from the LOS.

Not too shabby. Now you can run a post pattern for a surprise two-pointer.

Hmm. Would be even more interesting if you gained 10 yards on the PAT attempt and was awarded a first down, with four tries to score two. All untimed downs. More commercials.
