Fuck 'em. I watch amazingly little NFL anymore, at least compared to how much I once did. I cable cut, no ESPN, and in general only jump in for particular match ups. No more "if there's a game on it's on my TV". I pay more attention to my fantasy teams than I do the league at this point.

No, the NFL has no decency. The league office tries for the appearance of decency at times to help protect the bottom line, but that's about it. This should surprise no one.

That said, it is a disgrace that the NFL will not allow a member of the Seau family to speak. I truly hope one of the other inductees will speak against the decision. Maybe that's a delusional hope, but I'd love to see one of the give the league the verbal beating it deserves.

More fun from the NFL. Not only has the NFL not held a hearing for Le'Veon Bell's appeal of his three-game suspension, but Roger Goodell couldn't even say what was going on with the case. This with the Steelers opening training camp Sunday.

Seriously, I get the delay in the Brady ruling. It sure seems like the league is keeping the door open to a deal so they don't end up in court. But how hard is it to set the appeal hearing for Bell, who has said repeatedly that he will not take legal action no matter what the league decides?

RG3 will go down at home in Week 2 against the Rams. The only question is the type of injury.

Rich Eisen gave a good defense of the NFL, namely those presenters and honorees in the past who turned the thing into a four-hour slog by going way over their allotted time to speak. As it is, each honoree is allotted about 20 minutes. And for the most part, seven people and their presenters speaking for three hours doesn't make for great television. I guess it was fine when they didn't broadcast the thing live.

Why wouldn't it be? Especially for where that piece was written.

That was the league's excuse. Sorry, but that's bullshit. Put a time limit on the thing and let the family speak.

    Who employs Eisen again?

The rule has been in place for 5 years. You conspiracy theorists need to calm down.
