Not saying it's nothing and he should play through it. Just saying that makes it a lot less likely to be a continuing thing because it won't be constantly strained by the thrwing motion.

Actually, no, it isn't that at all. If the comparison was sacks only, you might have a point, but it wasn't. It was tackles, tackles for loss, pressures, quarterback hits, passes defended, and interceptions. The only statistic in Donald's favor was forced fumbles.

If you can't use statistics in comparing defensive linemen and linebackers, then perhaps they should have a separate award for each. Each position has advantages in those categories. For example, a defensive lineman rushes the quarterback on a higher percentage of pass plays, but they are also easier to double-team, especially a tackle.

If you want to argue that those statistics are harder for a defensive tackle to accumulate than they are for an outside linebacker, that's reasonable. I think the edge is still wide enough when you consider all of those statistics, but it is a fair argument. However, it is not even close to accurate to say a comparison using sacks, quarterback hits, tackles, tackles for loss, quarterback pressures, forced fumbles, interceptions, and passes defended is the same as a comparison of defensive backs only using interceptions.

PFF gave Donald a slightly higher grade.

Houston, we have a lot of problems

    1) Texans still insists that they won't trade Deshaun Watson, who wants out - badly.
    2) Texans firing employees - including a favorite of Watson's - and hiring people in hopes of their being indebted to their new bosses.
    3) JJ Watt is responding to this wave of firings. He did the same when the Texans dumped its top PR person a few months ago.

Sources: Texans insist they're not trading Watson

If your team has qb problems, don't watch this highlight reel of all of justin herbert's td throws. Jesus, what an arm. What poise in the pocket.

Gotta admit, I was underwhelmed by his performance during his last year at Oregon but goddamn I'm sick if I'm a fan of the Dolphins. Holy shit.

No preseason. Sits on the bench his first game. Finds out he's starting 2nd game literally 3 minutes before kickoff, against the defending champs. Looked like an all pro from snap one.

    Unreal.

Meanwhile, Tua is throwing 18 times on 29-play, 7o yard drives

Is Jack Concannon still alive? Bobby Douglass?

I don’t have much of an opinion on who should have won DPOY, but every one of those categories except interceptions favors DEs over LBs.
