The morning news in Houston said that there are now six women lodging complaints against Watson, all represented by Buzbee. Only two have filed suits so far, though.

I somehow missed this in my quest to hit daytime Euro soccer parlays ... I actually really like this as a WFT fan. He's a major upgrade over Alex Smith, both in durability and arm strength. Heinicke is a nice backup and Kyle Allen is serviceable, so there are some options. They also picked up Curtis Samuel to complement McLaurin. Logan Thomas is here to stay as a quality tight end option, and I still think the Gandy-Golden kid from Liberty has upside as a big receiver. He just didn't see much time last year. I'd rather have Fitz than Carr or Mariota, TBH.

I would rather have Carr than Fitzpatrick, but neither is a star. I really like the signing of Samuel.

Never seen so many fans upset at so many teams for making so many bad moves around so many quarterbacks.

I think Fitz is fine as a stopgap, but if you're signing him, I think you also need to draft a first or second round QB, because he's not the long-term answer. I'd say the same thing to the Bears with Dalton as well. Fitz and Dalton are probably the best backup QBs in the league, and maybe you can limp to a playoff appearance with them, but both get killed by good teams.

For sure. I think this gives you an opportunity to get a guy at 19 that you can groom with zero pressure to play him this year.

Fitzpatrick has never played in a playoff game. Only one team has ever had a winning record with him as its quarterback, the 2015 Jets. He really isn't worse than Smith and he might be enough for Washington to win that division, but they aren't going far with him taking the snaps.

I don't think there was anyone out there other than Watson who could have been a real difference maker for Washington at the position. And Washington would have to give up too much in a trade to get a Watson or a Wilson. You could say the same about Carr or Mariota. They're all adequate, none are spectacular.

Fitzpatrick is as good as any quarterback available to not lead a team to the playoffs.

Congratulations to all the crabby white folks for bringing the NFL to its knees by the force of their righteous indignation.

The NFL gets the money, and figures out a way to keep me from the temptation of watching Thursday Night Football. Way to go, Rog!
