Read Kansas City signed Bowe and Colquitt and tagged Albert. Bowe's a bit of a headcase but I can see him thriving in a new system - if the Chiefs can find some other receivers to put out there with him.

Does the tagging of Albert make it more likely K.C. takes Joeckel?

EDIT: Or less likely? I've read the team might consider moving Albert to guard.

This would be funnier if I could not remember where I was for each of the six Super Bowl wins. There are so many, it's actually easier to write all that information down in a list form.

more unsubstantiated, self-generated tabloid b.s. from ny daily snooze re: jets/darrelle revis. lead b.s. artist beat fool manish mehta concocts another gem, which mikey loopy suports ith indecipherable "JETS MUST...!' column. disgraceful even for a degenerating tabloid. riddle me this: other than tossing in that the falcons 'could be ' another team (besides the niners) to be all-in on the idea of trading for revis NOW, before inspecting his post-acl ravaged knee, who are the mystery teams who MUST make their move now? who the jets MUST make a deal with NOW, lest the fill their cb needs thru free agency or the draft and thus lose interest in revis?

what a load of crap: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/jets/buyer-island-jets-teams-hook-revis-article-1.1280612

    You obviously read cbssports.com

I still think they take a lineman of some sort.

I do like that mock draft you're referencing, though, because it has Warmack falling to the Bears.

That mock draft had Fluker going before Warmack. I just do not see that.

No fucking way. It will be Joeckel or Fisher.

Elite DBs are usually a lot easier to come by than a tackle who can be dominant for the next decade.

I don't think a DB has ever gone No. 1 in the Super Bowl Era. There's a reason for that.

KC's best option at this point might be to play chicken with the Jaguars and convince them that they're either going to draft defense or they're going to trade the No. 1 pick to another team that wants to draft defense. They swap picks, the Jags get their guy, since everyone on this planet thinks the Jags are going to draft defense and the Chiefs pick up a pick or two, sort of like what Cleveland did last year...

I don't think the Jags would bite unless there was one guy who they are completely convinced that they like better than anyone else. People are saying the Niners or Rams could be willing to move up... I tend to think the Niners would be better off rolling the dice on whichever defensive lineman falls to 31 or 34 or move up to the middle of the first if there is a guy they really like, when they might only have to give up one of their No. 2s to do it.

CBS Sports mock drafts are almost as wild as the politics thread.

With the release of Winston yesterday, KC will pick either Joeckel or Fisher.

The team I deal with doesn't have a first-round pick, the team I root for doesn't pick until 20th and there are no big names this year. Haven't been this unexcited about the draft in about 30 years.

    It's a very boring draft.
