How great would it be for Harrison to sign with the Lions and play with Suh? The potential for mayhem would be the greatest in league history

I bet they could stomp some heads together.

I'll be very surprised if they keep Lewis. They should, but I'm not sure if it is possible given their cap situation. I could see some team with cap room like the Browns try to sign Wallace and Lewis as a package deal. The funny part is most fans outside of Pittsburgh don't realize that Lewis has become the better player.

I could see that happening... I think Cleveland has the be the favorite since the assumption is that he wants to get paid...

Browns need to focus on young talent. They're not close to competing in that division. A 35-year-old OLB who probably would command a multi-year deal playing him at least $3.5 million per would not make sense.

In other words, expect the Browns to be interested, because it would be so very Browns.

The 70's Raiders / Steeler teams want a word with you.

    Exactly.

There's what the Browns should do, and what they will do. They'll probably overpay and sign 3-4 big name, past their prime free agents who are looking for one final big payday and then be stunned when all of them are on IR by Week 10.

This silent period is just stupid...

Depending on which rumors you hear...

It looks like the Dolphins are signing Mike Wallace, which means he'll be lucky to ever see the postseason again... :D

    Reggie Bush to Arizona?

Dashon Goldson and Danny Amendola to Philly?

I know with teams like the Ravens, Steelers and Packers, they rarely make mistakes when they cut veteran guys to save money, but I have to think that if the Ravens cut Anquan Boldin, that that's a move they're going to regret. It's not like he's overpaid by NFL standards...

The Harrison move I completely get, even though it probably wasn't an easy decision...

The Dolphins signing Wallace would be awesome. They're going to have to overpay to get him, days after overpaying Brian Hartline. If only they previously had a proven, All-Pro receiver so they wouldn't have to make such desperate personnel moves.

    Yeah, no shit...

I think it's safe to say I'd rather have Brandon Marshall than Mike Wallace or any of the other free agent receivers out there...

But what do I know? They did get a whopping two third-round picks for a guy who was probably a top 3-5 receiver last season.
