The Pats better not sign him. Their entire offense would be hurt by the end of training camp.

That's going to put them over the Short White Receiver cap, they're going to have to cut Stokley.

how would brady be to see welker land with his arch-rival peyton? over-under on how long it will take denver's p.r. staff to tell reporters, 'peyton won't answer any brady vs. peyton questions?'

bill polian just made right-on point, says lions adding bush was like the rams acquiring marshall faulk; 'greatest show on turf II'?

Did he really say that? Wow he has gone senile. Marshall Faulk led the NFL in yards from scrimmage the year before the Rams got him and for his career had been averaging about 18 carries a game. Reggie Bush is a nice bauble but absolutely nothing compared to Faulk. Bush is also two years older now than Faulk was when the Rams got him.

You have to block first. And um, Stafford does not = Warner.

what is he worth right now? if i'm the jets the no. 1 pick hast to be in the top 10-12 picks. any pick lower than that i'd just say, 'wait 'til september.' idzi would be jusifiably ripped for his first major move. there is absolutely no downside to waiting -- the fear he could tear up the knee again and leave you with nothing is a longshot risk i'd be more than willing to take; odds are much, much better that revis' stock will only rise soon after he returns to the field.

it will tell us much about idzik should he pull the trigger too soon and 'settle' for any package that doesn't get him to the top half of round 1. better to wait and use a no. 1 in'14 on a top qb. what better welcoming gift could he give to the new jets' coach?

it took him a year to realize he's out of the nfl for good; bravo to polian for giving his bosses the 'hot topids' they look for 24/7...

It's official. Wes Welker has agreed to terms with the Broncos.

I don't think the Jets are going to get a top 12 pick for Revis. If the Bucs were offering the No. 13 pick, I'm guessing the deal would already be done.

The two teams that seem to be the most interested, Tampa and Philly, almost certainly won't be giving up this year's No. 1 for Revis, since they hold the No. 4 and No. 13 picks...

They might roll the dice and take a No. 1 for next year, but one would have to figure that Tampa and Philly will be middle-of-the-pack teams next season, so the pick wouldn't likely to be top 10 either.

I'm going to be really curious how the Jets are going to get this done and save face. By saying they should get what the Vikings got for Harvin is fine, but now if you don't get that, you look like an idiot.

Love it... Now it will be interesting if the Pats get in the mix for Jennings or some other WR out there...
