Don't sleep on the Colts. That Andrew Luck might turn into something someday.

To recap, Green will be better and they will win a playoff game next year. That's probably the over on what Denver will do.

Yeah, AFC looks to be wide open. I can see 6-7 teams legitimately making a run.

93Devil, do you think Andy Dalton is the guy for Cincinnati, in terms of getting them anywhere in the playoffs?

I still see them as No. 3 in their division.

    That I can accept. :)

No, he is not built for the playoffs and neither is Manning anymore. You need a strong arm or a dominating defense or running game to make up for what QB needs to do in the post season. Defenses are better and faster and you need a stronger arm to throw in bad weather.

I can see Cincy winning 11 or 12 in the regular season winning a playoff game but falling short to a team with a better QB (Baltimore, Pittsburgh, New England). The Colts have a good enough QB, but I think they take one step back next season.

If the Bengals make a playoff run, it will be because of their D, not their passing game (I believe Green has the ability to make a QB look significantly better than he actually is).

The Eagles are leving Lehigh University after 17 seasons and will greatly restrict public access to their training camp.

    Dear fans,

Thank you for paying high ticket prices, paying $10 for a beer and $20 for parking, for shelling out money for jerseys and other team merchandise, for letting us use your tax dollars to build our stadium and for stomaching a team that hasn't won a championship in more than 50 years.

Now go fuck yourselves. You can't even watch us practice for free anymore because new coach Chippy hates the fans and the media.

In the AFC North? Not a chance. The Steelers and Ravens will be solid again, despite the losses, and the Browns significantly improved through free agency. I would not be surprised to see every team in the North end up with a 3-3 record in the division.

What the heck. I will weigh in on an NFL thread. ... 1) AJ Green is real good. 2) Andy Dalton has a noodle arm, no accuracy, little scrambling ability and the Bengals won despite him last year, not because of him. There is no way that team is going to win 11 games with him at QB. There is a decent team around him, but not that good of a team.

The biggest thing benefiting the Bengals is that their division is likely going to be weak this year. Baltimore should take a step backward with the players they have been bleeding, the Steelers are full of holes and Cleveland is Cleveland. But 11 or 12 games is pretty optimistic, in my opinion.

Disagree that Dalton has a noodle arm (that designation is reserved for Matt Ryan!) but the rest is correct. He's pretty meh.

I grew up outside of Cleveland, and even I think you're being optimistic about the Browns. Until there's evidence that Weeden is taking a major step forward, I'm not buying the Browns. (I also think the switch to a 3-4 will prove to be a mistake since their 4 linemen were the best part of their D, and their secondary has ?s at 2nd CB, nickle CB and one safety position).
