He'll just end up with the Raiders or Chiefs and terrorize Manning.

I'm looking at it that the contract and the money was out of whack. That they got to shop the Broncos offer around the league and it was the best one they were going to find. If he didn't want the Broncos' offer, then all he had to say was no. He changed his mind and said yes. But it was too late. And as Ragu mentioned, good luck finding $8 million a year out there. If he gets it, congrats to him.

LOL "out of whack" I think is the exact words Elway used. You are speaking straight from the horse's mouth so to speak. Now that's loyalty.

Obviously, the Dumervil camp felt the same way, otherwise, he wouldn't have accepted the contract, right? If it wasn't out of whack, he would have just walked away and found $12 million for this season from another team, right?

It sounds like he was fine at 8M with 3.5M guaranteed for 2014. Then they got the contract this morning and that 3.5M was not guaranteed.

Huge difference. And that caused the delay.

Elway's version doesn't line up with Elvis' version so someone's not telling the truth or delusional, which leads to disputes, which makes more work for lawyers :)

I like it, especially after losing Percy Harvin. Don't think they are done shopping for receivers, though. Maybe not in the first round (Marquis Lee, please God), but maybe in a later round.

I see the problem now. Dumervil was looking for Kinkos and did not realize that there was a name change. It is now called Fed Ex Office.

Between this and the Ryan Braun case, hasn't been a good sports year for the chain.

That much is true. Thank goodness for self-service copiers, because the folks behind the desk are often clueless.

How about Marquess Wilson in the second or third round?

Not familiar with him. I still think they need a speed guy on the outside. Harvin could be that, but had problems staying healthy.

I would expect defenses to stack the box against Adrian Peterson and Christian Ponder is getting more accurate as a passer.
