Bradshaw is the most talented back on the market and has been since Day 1. Obviously his injury history is keeping him from signing a big deal, but if any team that signs him can keep him relatively healthy, they're getting a hell of a player.

  2. Not losing it based solely on the loss of Allen. This is just another loss period.
I agree Lewis was the BIG loss for the defense. And Allen compound's that. He was on the bench, until Troy gets hurt.
The odds Troy is healthy all year? Yea, I ain't taking that bet.
The Steelers have lost a good bit - off a losing team - but they have done little to strengthen the team.

Bradshaw may be the most talented back available. But that ain't saying much. He doesn't have fabulous speed. He's not that big.
Sure, he's upgrade over the Steelers current crop, but his injuries make him a liability. There's no way I'd take a chance on him expecting him start and last 12 games, muchless a playoff run (pfffft, like that will happen this season).

You had the sky falling when they were collecting rings.

As expected, the Raiders let Tommy Kelly go. It was a match made in heaven -- the malcontent underachiever with the franchise that collects excuses as quickly as it collects losses.

The Raiders are now down to 18 players who were on the team when Al Davis died in October 2011. And there aren't more than five who are NFL-caliber.

Raiders get first pick of the 2014 draft. The surest thing in the NFL.

No, that's an exaggeration on your part.

What I did was correctly point out, very early on, that 2012 had the look of 2009. One way or another, they were finding ways to lose in close games.

I get that Allen is one more loss, but it's pretty far down the list. Obviously, safety is a position of need, one in a long list.

Giants don't usually misevaluate their own talent. Jerry Reese seems to be a pretty smart guy and lets a player go, at worst, a year early. I don't think they've been burned by letting a player go. Osi may have 10 games in him, but not 2 years. Bradshaw may play a dozen games next year, at best. But it'll be the 1st 12 not the last 12.

They also have a very good player ready to step in. You cannot keep Wilson on the bench forever.

Agree - Look at Manningham and Jacobs last year as examples. The Giants are also good at bringing the right players in and sitting on current 2nd line players till they develop.
