I know it's stupid, probably drunk, idiots saying that, but ... really?
Gostkowski is at the top of the list of first-ballot inductees for the kicker hall of fame. How about blaming your Pro Bowl linebacker Jamie Collins for getting burned twice on touchdown passes in the first half? Or Brady for throwing two picks and only completing 50 percent of his passes? Or Edelman for not getting that first fourth down conversion?
The list goes on and on. The Patriots got beat. The Broncos were the better team. Missing the PAT didn't help, but it was hardly the only reason why.

 

Panthers have come out of the locker room in both of these games flying so high, but like almost all teams that do this, they flatline in the second half. That might keep the spread lower.

 

Carolina going for 2, up 40-15 with 5:26 to go? Yikes.

 

Denver's defense is not going to look as good trying to stop this kid.

And Carolina's DBs are going to be all over Manning's ducks.

 

Drew Stanton would have been a better option for Arizona tonight.

An 86-year old Arnold Palmer would've been a better option.
