He isn't dead? Well, I'll be. I lost track of him after he sold off. He is my own personal Abe Vigoda.

    Cleveland loses again.

Ask folks in Kansas City, Cleveland, Denver, Miami, South Bend and Charlottesville how "The Patriot Way" has worked for them.

First of all, Spygate is about football, just a part of football you don't like hearing about.

Secondly, you're the one who brought it up, so you really shouldn't be bitching about us discussing it.

Thirdly, there was a scoreboard error. You can argue whether or not it was intentional, but the error happened. Again, deal with it.

First, Spygate is about football the same way being paid to throw World Series games is about baseball. The past is the past. It should have nothing to do with this game coming up.

Second, I brought it up because an article was linked here about the scoreboard error. In just about every article I've seen on the matter, it was hinted at (And in some plain ol' said) that, because this is the Patriots, you can't rule out that it was an intentional act to give NE an edge.

As a Patriots fan, I take offense to that and simply said that this reminded me of the people bitching about Spygate. Apologies. I was under the assumption we were going to have an actual discussion about the teams still alive in the playoffs. Please allow me to sit back and let all you fine folk talk about the merits of "Tebow-mania" and whether or not the Giants really are douchebags instead.

Third, I don't recall disputing the error happened. What I do dispute is that Cundiff was rushed. The Ravens had a timeout. They should have used it. Deal with it.

And fourth, the level of jealousy on this board towards successful franchises is ridiculous. The Steelers win and every Steeler fan gets trashed. The Broncos win and people yell about how Tebow sucks. Is everyone that miserable that anyone being happy with the way their team performs must be pointed out and yelled at for it?

I get that we're all "journalists" here and we've been taught to bury our loyalties but I thought this was a thread where we were talking football? I was not aware that we were supposed to keep our discussions within the confines of our profession and look at everything like NFL Network analysts rather than be a little fanboi looserish.

Apologies. You may now resume your discussions on the merits of media day completely devoid of anything resembling fun.

You don't get to choose the topics of conversation here. It doesn't work that way, especially after you bring up the topic. Don't like it? Don't read.

Hell, that rant just makes me want to talk about spygate more.

Bullshit. Hoodie's a great coach, but he's still an asshole, and the asshole got caught. Especially given this matchup, it's open season, and I guarantee you it will be dredged up, as it should be.

It's going to be great to see the bastards go down, especially that asshole owner and his precious (albiet talented) QB.

I'd like to discuss crooked officials, while we're at it.

The difference between Spygate and your idiotic theories about the NFL using officials to fix games is simple. There is actual evidence to back up Spygate. Well, there was before the commish destroyed it all.

    :D

But hey, go for it. Just expect to be laughed again at as the gaping holes in your sad excuse for an argument are exposed once again.

You're arguing that Spygate is in the past and should have nothing to do with this game, but .... you're the one who brought it up. This makes no sense.
