it was the way he came off that was surprising. Not saying he was a winner before that shit but damn. He didn't come off apologetic in the least.

I didn't realize that the State of Hawaii forks out $4 mil in taxpayer money to the NFL for the right to host the Pro Bowl.
They say they get most of it back in taxes and an economic boost. But I really wonder how much leverage the NFL has. I don't see any city offering more.

We know why he got into North Carolina, but it reflects zero credit on that institution, whatsoever.

This isn't progressing well. Tension is rising. Even if he is a horse's ass, Irsay ought to know better than to bicker publicly with his golden goose.

I saw that as the NFL's way of begging for viewers for that worthless game.

Jim Irsay is the last NFL owner to chide anyone for talking. I don't mind that he does it. Heck, I like it. But he's not the only one who gets the right to do that, either.

  7. I think Manning is done. As a Colt for sure. As a player - prolly.

It's pretty obvious by now this organization is class deficient. Irsay is back on the drugs or is making an effort to channel his old man.

Another reminder that, man, Elway's exit really was something else. Nobody rides off into the sunset like that, with all the love and none of the rancor.
