All four Wild Card games went under and no team scored more than 24 points.

Here are some of Bob Griese's playoff stats: (these are wins, mind you)

AFC Championship game, 1972 season: 3-5, 70 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT; Mia beats Pit 21-17
AFC Championship game, 1973 season: 3-6, 34 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT; Mia beats Oak 27-10

Griese is the most overrated QB in history. A notch above Troy Aikman.

There are very few of Manning's playoff losses that can really be pinned on him.

I don't think you can say the same about Favre.

All 11 of Manning's losses are someone else's fault.

And for all of Favre's playoff nonsense, he managed to have a winning record in the postseason.

To be fair about the Manning/Elway comparison, at Manning's current age, Elway had lost 3 Super Bowls without yet winning one, had he not?

    No, he didn't.

Sure -- but that was at a time when the NFC was lording over the AFC. The fourth-place team in the NFC in a given year would have been favored over the AFC champion in those Super Bowls.

Elway also had a resume including getting to three Super Bowls and The Drive.

Hall of Fame quarterbacks Sonny Jurgensen, Dan Fouts and Warren Moon never even PLAYED in a Super Bowl or NFL championship game. PS: Any of 'em could be on my team.
