"Not especially. One division title since he arrived."

Wow. Totally missing the point there, Tupac head.

Since when do division titles in the NFL mean anything? Ask the 2012 Broncos, 2011 Packers, 2010 Patriots, 2009 Chargers, 2008 Panthers and 2007 Colts -- and Steve McNair led 2006 Ravens, for that matter -- what their division titles meant in the postseason. Diddly squat.

"More than one (and other hardware) before he arrived."

You make it sound like Flacco is Steve Young trying to live up to the JOe Montana legacy in San Francisco. I don't believe there's a Trent Dilfer legacy in Baltimore. If so, Flacco has long since surpassed it.

He being a baseball player and all, Kaepernick reminds me of a right-handed Strawberry, from physique to strength to throwing to running. Such a beast.

Anyway, about the only team who doesn't do anything for me is the Falcons, but I'm picking them 45-21.

And as much as I've come to appreciate Belichick and Brady, I'm taking the Ravens 35-31.

That sets up the sexy storyline of Ray Lewis and "Atlanta" down in the Bayou.

Of course, it'll probably end up Patriots-49ers.

The Falcons are similar to the Packers in that their OL and DL can be overpowered; which is a nice matchup for the Niners. Worse than anything, I cannot dismiss the fact that the Raiders, one of the worst teams, flew cross-country for an early start and nearly beat the Falcons in the Dome. Plus, the Georgia Dome is nowhere as intimidating as say the Superdome or even Seattle's field; and the Niners went to the Superdome with Kaep and won there (along with of course Foxborough/Brady).

The Ravens love playing the Pats and have played them very tough the past 5 years; I'm picking Ravens although their D is so-so.

This is a very entertaining story: talking to Olympians (including Edwin Moses) about how in the hell Kaepernick can be that big and move that fast.

"It tells me his biomechanics are really good," said Moses, who won 400-meter gold medals at the 1976 and '84 Olympics and who once won 122 consecutive races. "And I'd bet a million dollars he's done a lot of plyometrics in his life."

    Kaep's 6-pack is mighty impressive.

I would rather watch a Big East game than a Falcons-Ravens Super Bowl.

Anything can happen, but I wouldn't bet that parley for less than, oh, 20-1.

I don't know. The State of Georgia v. Ray Lewis has been a long time coming.

From 1997-2002 or so Tampa Bay, with first Trent Dilfer and then Shaun King and Brad Johnson, had a nice run. The Raiders of 30 years ago, with Jim Plunkett, had a nice run.

    That's the list.
