If only they were as humble as Minister Ray.

Aren't he and Manning substantially equivalent after '04, i.e. when Brady ceased being a game-manager bolstered by his defense and kicker and had to shoulder the majority of the load a la Manning?

This may have been posted earlier in the thread, but it's worth a re-post:

For not addressing the CBS TV crew after the game, I say Belichick has reached Lance Armstrong is a piece of FILL IN THE BLANK.

    This is a great tweet:

Betting that if Bill Belichick coached high school sports he wouldn't call his losses into the paper.

I don't disagree with "since 2004". Of course, Brady had three rings in his back pocket by that point. A lot of equity but his performances in the past few years haven't been what they were from 2001 to 2004. Lots of home losses. I will say, especially in the era where QBs are protected that, it is a perfect storm for a 28 or 29 year old QB with some mobility. The wisdom of a few years in the league but also with low enough "miles" to make the linebackers sweat.

Still impressive, especially in the context of the Peytons of the world.

    No dash.

    Just #Geenius.

And Trent Dilfer's. And Brad Johnson's. And Kurt Warner's. And Joe Namath's. And Ken Stabler's. And The Bears'.

Kaepernick's team winning would be just as funny.

Brady and Manning are very similar since '04, yes. Underperforming offenses are a rule in these losses. In Brady's defense today, Gronkowski being out of there was a huge deal. Huge.

    That said ...

    One-and-dones since 2004: Brady 2, Manning 5
