    1. Belichick gave his post-game press conference as usual. He simply didn't give CBS an interview. He should've, but he didn't go into seclusion. His presser was perhaps the least informative in terms of words and most informative in terms of body language ever.

    2. Ravens defense was magnificent. Too tired and beered to look it up, but that's the fewest points the Pats have scored in some time, and it's been way longer than that since they've been shut out in a halt.

    3. Yeah, I thought the Pats would win. So did the rest of you who aren't Ravens fans and are honest.

Uh, that doesn't answer the question. Is he a writer? TV talking head? One of your friends?

Mike, Sharpe's comments were on target. First time in a long time that I can remember him taking a stand on something and making sense. And I'm with you. I thought the Pats offense was unstoppable. I was wrong.

Sharpe is right, even if he's biased ... More than being gracious in defeat, though, it's wrong for Belichick to make Devin McCourty answer for the Patriots' loss. A true leader would have gone out there and spoken to Steve Tasker himself instead of sending a player to do it.

Gee, you can act as though Belichick just blew off CBS, but the fact is, he made a player answer for the loss in front of the nation. Some people will watch the presser. A few more will read his quotes tomorrow. But the fact is, when asked to stand before the cameras of the national network that broadcast the game, Belichick cowered.

As Sharpe said (and it's not often in one's interest to agree with Mushmouth), Belichick's been in that game five times before and won, and five other coaches have gone into the hallway outside the losing locker room to answer for his team. Belichick is the only one who didn't think his team deserved that respect.

Brady still goes home to Gisele.

Peyton is asking Archie when the pork tenderloins are cooked after the Old Man fires up the grill.

    Advantage: Brady

All I know is that Belichick held his press conference as usual, and that it was going on while CBS was still on the air. So they had an option besides McCourty.

Even when he wins, Belichick seems as though he hates his job. We certainly know he hates the people who report on his job.

Peyton Manning also blew off CBS last weekend, but also held a 12-minute presser.
