She should take a double dose of STFU. He has four kids by six women? So the fuck what. As long as he's supporting his kids, and from all indications he's being a man about doing that, who cares? I draw the line when a former Hooters queen comes off talking about morality. She really needs a reality check.

Thought this was a pretty funny line from Mike Tanier column today:

"After the final gun, after 500 cameramen circled Ray Lewis and took pictures as he squatted on the field in the “downward dog,” his plumber crack eclipsing the sports cosmos for a few seconds, around the same time as the presentation of the Lamar Hunt Trophy, the silence of Joe Flacco’s hometown was interrupted by backyard fireworks."

well he was sued for paternity, which he contested and lost http://casesearch.courts.state.md.us/inquiry/inquiryDetail.jis?caseId=03C98000085&loc=55&detailLoc=CC

he's been sued for custody and settled by another woman http://casesearch.courts.state.md.us/inquiry/inquiryDetail.jis?caseId=03C03010089&loc=55&detailLoc=CC

he's also been sued a few times for failing to pay debts

Would Lewis' child-bearing be that big a deal if he was say an actor?

Wouldn't it depend if the actor portrayed himself as a man of god and deep religious beliefs who has been redeemed from a life of sin?

I'm curious how he pulled off this "four kids by six women" that you speak of. Did some of the women only have half a kid?

I don't disagree. Of course Holyfield presented the same public persona.

Don't be a dickhead all the damn time. The point is its his life. He seems to be in his children's life. That's a very good thing. There are plenty of married men who can't say that.

bravo to mrs. welker for having the balls no networks have -- to call out lewis by filling in te conspicuous omissions in all of ray's 'farewell' pieces as 'odes to a warrior.' want to paint ray as an all-time great linebacker? fine. but giving him free rein to rewrite his own legacy as a role model for all to look up to. um, no -- not as long as there are so many unanswered questions about that night in atlanta. and just because he's apparently been financially responsible for spreading around hs semen doesn't make him daddy of the year.

hey, i understand that ray and his supporters want his ditant past to never be brought up again. and i'm not saying we need to be reminded of it every time he has a good game or a good season. but if you're going insist of forcing this heavily edited version of ray down our throts at least have the gonads to balance out the story with the 'other' truths about ray that arent so exemplary... while the networks and their suck-up, sellout journos suck on the teet i'm optimistic that more than a few print journalist at the supe will have the balls to ask ray about the stuff nobody dare asks him about any more and that several of them rehash and updaate the whol story.

now THAT'S a super bowl story i'd be interested in reading, not the millionth version of 'the harbaughs: the early years' or whatever other 'investigative journalism' the league's p.r. machine tries steering the masses towards.....

Ok Shockey. There's a media pass for you to cover media day provided you have the balls to ask Ray about the Atlanta killing and what happened to the white suit.
