He passed the buck in the presser. Same guy who wanted to make sure people knew he was the mastermind behind everything in Denver. Same guy who kept dumping quarterbacks and defensive coordinators because Pat Bowlen kept his blinders on too long.

Now when he needs to make a decision, he doesn't. After not doing so, he sidesteps the issue in the postgame presser. Vintage Shanahan. Disgusting but not the least bit surprising.

Did you just watch the Vikings, Seahawks, Colts and Redskins in the playoffs this weekend? How did they do last season? It does not take much to turn a team around or have them fall in today's NFL.

Good grief. Three of those teams have stellar quarterbacks just drafted less than 12 months ago. The fourth has to settle for Adrian Peterson.

We know Peterson is a game-changing level player. Robert Griffin III, Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson are showing similar traits. Those are more than just a lucky bounce or pivotal fourth-quarter play.

For the life of me I can't find a list of the greatest comeback wins in the playoffs. Any help?

When someone types "on paper," that means, to me, the talent they have on the roster. If a good QB is the difference, that's one player.

OK, so healthy rookie QB beats injured rookie QB. Good for him.

I hope/suspect Griffin will be fine in the long haul. After seeing Adrian Peterson come back from the knee injury he had to turn in such a stellar season, it amazes me at what medical people can do.

As for should Griffin have played? Absolutely! If you can possibly play, you play in the big games.

As to whether or not he could be effective or not, well those are the sort of decisions coaches get paid to make. When Leslie Frazier said Chris Ponder couldn't be effective and thus didn't play, I believe him. If Mike Shanahan felt Griffin was good to play at less than 100 percent, that's his call. Sports history is filled with stories of players who played hurt.

That's all games. Just looking for playoff comebacks.
