To anybody paying attention they are not consistent.

You say that quarterback play is so important in the NFL that quarterbacks should be judged by wins and losses.

Then you say the Colts, Redskins and Seahawks are all examples of how slim the margin is between bad teams and good ones, even though all three brought in outstanding rookie quarterbacks. But if the quarterback is so important, that's not a slim margin at all.

There is a 99 percent chance Andrew Luck will be a better quarterback next season and the Colts will have a worse record.

Put that in your calculator and tell me what it means.

93Devil moves the goalposts more often than a kicker who gets shuffled all over the practice facility.

One player does not make ALL the difference ... see: Dan Marino throughout his career. But let's not pretend that an excellent one doesn't make a big difference.

-A more difficult schedule given the Colts' better record this season.
-A defense that doesn't come up with as many key plays.
-A team not playing as inspired, which I hope is the case because Chuck Pagano has no relapse and continues to improve clinically.

How many teams could have changed into playoff teams overnight by drafting Wilson?

How many teams would be playoff teams if they traded for Cutler?

That's how fine the line is in the NFL. One player. So to say that the Skins will return to a shitty team next year, which is what Fart posted, then you don't agree that QBs like RGIII is that important.

Troll, why did you change the "30" in your previous troll handle?

    I'm not a troll.
And I haven't done anything wrong on this thread.
I know my shit. You often don't.

Sorry, I read that as saying the Redskins will be below .500 next season.

    And Bengals/Texans was riveting.

After tonight's display, we can agree upon Shanny.

The better record only makes a difference in two games out of the 16 -- and based on this year's finishes they draw other second-place teams Cincinnati and Miami for 2013. Not exactly an impossible task.

There was definitely some magic and luck involved this year, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see 10-6 or 11-5. All that young talent is a year older.
