Especially if Shanahan lied (which I think most believe he did) about what Andrews told him about RG3 being able to go back into the game.

This is also a reminder of why Andrew Luck was a clear choice over Griffin for as the No. 1 draft choice. Not that Luck is immune to a serious injury, but 1) Griffin's style of play exposes him to the possibility of injury far more than Luck's; and 2) because of that style of play, leg and knee injuries affect Griffin's game far more than they'll affect Luck's, even if the players can play through them. A huge part of Griffin's effectiveness is his ability to get outside and burst away from pursuit. When he can't do that, he is not the game-changer we saw early in the season.

Yeah look at the guy's overcoat. It looked like he got it at the thrift shop

Yep. The Colts can look at Luck and at least hope that he will replicate Manning's 13-year starting streak. If he falls short of that, he's still likely to get close. RG3 is going to have a tough time ever playing a full season.

Different sport but in retrospect the decision by The Nationals to shut down Strasburg does not seem so bad now.

That looks like a Christmas movie.

Speaking of movies, Tom Joyner says Mike Shannahan is a the slave owner from Django Unchained, basically.

Is Andrews related to The Cat in the Hat?

At some point in that game Shanny needed to say that he did not have the most effective QB out on the field.

There needs to be a trust level between a player and coach that the player will play as long as the coach says play, but the trust comes in for the player to trust the coach to pull him out when he cannot physically perform.

Run or not, he couldn't push off that back leg towards the end of the game to throw a decent pass.

The smarter move would have been to limit his innings during the regular season so he would be available in the postseason.

Could an agent or two be paying him as well?

Would you wear anything of marked value anywhere near that crappy field surface?
