When I was scoped, I had three days off and pretty much immobile, and after that I could limp around OK. That was in late 2011. Point is, every human body is different. If doctors can't give more than general parameters on injury recovery time, guesses by laypeople are pretty limited in value. And I guess what I object to most isn't speculation on recovery time so much as it is the straightforward assertions of what Griffin's playing ability will be when he returns. NOBODY has a clue as to that.

Does anyone on this board have experience as the No. 2 draft pick and as a world-class athlete who plays quarterback for an NFL team?

Didn't think so, so zip it!!

You're right. I remember watching games where 1/4th of the stands were cheering for the other team when I watched games from Pittsburgh, Dallas, Green Bay, Oakland, hell, even Cleveland. Happens all the time.

Actually, prices weren't terrible for the playoff game last weekend. You could get in the SRO sections for $75. And you could get a seat for around $80. Way, way, way cheaper than the previous week, where the get-in price was hovering around $180 on StubHub if I remember right.

    That actually really surprises me...

Me, too. I considered going. Until I remembered that the gameday experience here is hell on Earth.

If there's a worse traffic experience in sports than FedEx Field, I have yet to encounter it. That includes State College, Pa., Yankee Stadium and whatever they're calling the Dolphins' stadium these days. Never been to Clemson, though, which I hear is a contender.

If you paid me $180 I wouldn't go to a game at FedEx Field -- and that includes next year's Bears game.

I've been to two games since the turn of the century: a preseason game against the Patriots a few years ago and the Arizona regular season game last year. Both times, the tickets were given to me free of charge.

But yeah, it's awful. Just the worst. Traffic is a nightmare. The cost of EVERYTHING there (parking , food, drink, merch) is insane. Oh, and the stadium is shit.

So, instead of wasting an entire day (leave at 9 a.m. for a 1 p.m. game, get home at 7 p.m. if I'm lucky), I just watch on TV.

Weren't you at FedEx this year for something, YG?

Preseason game against the Colts. We had to park a mile away for $40, it was raining and the stores ran out of ponchos. Then, we couldn't get a shuttle back to the lot when we left early (we had the boy in tow) and it took us an hour to find our car. The free tickets and the fact we took a shortcut that included NO traffic didn't even come close to making up for all that nonsense.

Yeah. As bad as it already is there, rain doesn't help one damn bit. Good Lord.

But hey. People can take the Metro to the stadium. Too bad the closest drop-off is a mile away!

    Just the worst.

Dallas canned Long-Haired Son of Ryan. Buddy needs to come out and shoot his mouth off in defense of his sons to really make these guys look like the family of coaching fools they are.
Sorry. This is a playoff thread and of course, Long Hair is nine years without seeing one.
