Nice of Cary Williams to bail out a big drop by Thomas there.

This was probably discussed earlier, but I've been drifting in and out of a nap for the last couple of hours.

During a brief moment of consciousness, I saw Denver score a TD and get a flag for celebrating. The refs then picked up the flag.

The announcers explained that it was because the player who joined the celebration came from the bench, and not the playing field. That can't be right, can it? Coming off the bench is ok, but if you were on the field it's not ok to celebrate?

I guess the issue might be that his helmet was off. If it had been a player on the field, that would have resulted in a penalty for removing his helmet. Still doesn't seem right that it's not a penalty for a player to sprint from the sidelines to celebrate and it not be a penalty.

    It's called holding, not touching.

Great looking drive here -- 26 years and one day after The Drive.

That drive is why the Broncos wanted Manning.

If the Ravens lose this game, special teams, not the refs, did them in.

OK, Manning did his part there. Now Von Miller and the defense need to step up.

This is what I loved about the Elway-era Broncos. Always kept you on the edge of your seats. No game was out of reach as long as there was time on the clock.

None of this boring fourth-quarter let's run the ball with a two TD lead. Down to the wire. That's what makes the games fun.

Replay also showed Manning was down before he fumbled on that play so the officials, who spent about 10 minutes trying to figure out how many penalties there were on the play and where to mark off the penalty from, got the spot wrong.
