    I think this played out like Giants-packers five years ago. As the game went on, it became apparent to Fox that Manning was frozen and fatigued. The first thing that goes for an older QB in the cold is quick reaction. Fox had to work around this in the play calling but no one will talk about this because St. Peyton would actually be criticized.

    Wasn't that Kaepernick third-down pass the exact thing Alex Smith was criticized for doing? Way short of the chains?

    Biggest difference was dropping the prima donna act and showing up for camp, for starters.
