OOP's endorsement is a reason to question the balloting.

A little deja vu for the Niners, maybe?

Manning's postseason record show that when facing better teams he, and his coaches and teams, performed below their regular season performance.

He's Wilt Chamberlain, dominant player, but less rings than you'd expect.

Don't throw anything out. Just realize the shit is not baseball, and one player's over-thinking drama act that just HAPPENS to coincide with bad luck frequently in the playoffs means, in the end, you can make a damn good case he's not only not the greatest quaternack of all time, he's probably not even the best quarterback of his generation.

I cannot stand the Patriots. But Tom Brady is such a better player than Manning it's ridiculous. For me, that's where much of backlash comes from. GOAT? Please.

Your argument counts on dismissing two runs to the Super Bowl, so it kinda sucks.

Well, I'm sure the Hall of Fame quarterback is comforted that you didn't say he was a bad one.

When Peyton is wearing the yellow blazer at Canton, what's he going to talk about?

    - Beating up on the Jags and Texans all those years.
    - Beating Rex Grossman in the rain.
    - Racking up all those commercials
    - How he won one SB while his brother, who played for Ol Freaking Miss and went to te toughest media market and the toughest NFL division, won two SB titles.

    Compiler.

Occasionally on this site the argument is made that QBs should be judged by wins/losses. That argument is generally (correctly) mocked. Yet when Peyton Manning enters the equation, a lot of people who mock the above argument denigrate his play based on his playoff W/L record. Ponderous.

That's a good way to put it. Manning is an A quarterback in the regular season, but a C quarterback in the postseason.

When it comes to wins and losses, QBs should only be judged on their wins.
