I look forward to, once again, hearing how Matt Ryan is so much better next year after he's 0-4 in the playoffs.

Must be nice to play half your games in a humidor with a HOF tight end and two Pro Bowl WRs.

The old Browns finally got revenge.

    I understand, Broncos fans.

I still think of the Tuck Rule game every once in a while. The AFC title game the year before and the Super Bowl the year after involved a Raiders team that decided to play offense straight into the strength of the opponent.

But that game . . . was in the bag. And instead, it gave the world Tom Brady.

    Sorry.

And of course, I have no newer playoff memories to ponder.

I agree. Jacksonville 2.0. Just a wretched feeling. Another week of fucking Ray Lewis.
Peyton, who is one fo the best ever, does the one thing a QB should never do, throw across his body to the middle of the field. Not to mention an epic breakdown in the defensive backfield with 30 fucking seconds left. STAY DEEP!

Don't remind me about the Tuck Rule. I was very much looking forward to the Steelers beating the Raiders the next week. I just knew the Patriots were a much tougher matchhup.

I saw enough Denver wins this year that weren't as impressive as they might have seemed to not be too surprised they lost, but John Flacco? Now that surprised me. I'm used to Raven receivers dropping crucial passes, not making them.

The Raiders would have won that game.

We keep hearing the "but, but, but they'll miss a lot of games" arguments about the dual-threat quarterbacks:

    1. Robert Griffin: Missed one start (probably should have been much more. I'll give you that one).
    2. Cam Newton: Started every game the last two years
    3. Russell Wilson: Started every game
    4. Colin Kaepernick: Still upright

Pretty good track record so far.

Speaking of John Fox's playcalling, did he say anything in the post-game presser last night to explain himself? Or at least try to explain himself?

But Albert's right; the Broncos' secondary was the biggest goat last night, followed by Peyton "The Atlanta Braves of Quarterbacking" Manning having another postseason bed-soiling.

Anyone else think that interception had a little to do with Manning's immobile neck and diminished arm strength?

Peyton Manning is absolutely a hall of famer, a first ballot one.

But his playoff career is too pockmarked with flameouts like yesterday's to call him the greatest of all time or even put him in the top five. And when people look at his career, it will be a serious blemish.
