That's next-level cocksucker right there. Premeditated.

22 playoff games, 21 INTs for John Elway.

23 playoff games, 21 INTs for Joe Montana.

22 playoff games, 20 INTs for Tom Brady.

19 playoff games, 26 INTs for Terry Bradshaw.

16 playoff games, 17 INTs for Troy Aikman.

    Amazing, ain't it?

You get to a ton of playoff games, where you face the best defenses in the league . . . and you throw INTs at a higher rate than you do in the regular season. They are just forgotten if you have things like a Steel Curtain defense or a steely kicker who never misses a winning playoff FG.

    The flu, Hack?

I'm trying to guess your reaction if someone used that to explain one of Manning's poor efforts.

And throwing out the Super Bowl year, ahem, Rodgers is 1-3 in the playoffs with the lone victory being over Joe Webb.

I mean you asked a smart-ass question, Mile High made a strong play with a straight answer, and you re-upped on the smart ass. It was well-played all the way around.

Well, my favorite person (besides Jay Cutler) is a Broncos fan, so I was trying to replace my frustration with a little bit of levity the only way I know how -- by acting like an asshole. :)

Brady in particular had three INTs in his first three playoff seasons -- nine games and three Super Bowls. Since then he has been a fairly average playoff performer and his team is 7-7. So yes, it does make quite a difference whether the quarterback is throwing interceptions. Brady also has 38 TDs with 20 INTs; Manning 32-21.

Brady also has a 10-2 career playoff record at home.

I will say there is a difference between Rodgers and Manning in the post season. Rodgers had a SB winning run where he had to win three road games to even get there. I never threw out manning's SB runs in his record. But, in the postseason, it is lacking. Very lacking.

Rodgers is approaching dangerous territory here. If he has a home playoff loss next year, I think the questions will echo louder.

As for the flu, it was something I picked up from hearing an extensive interview with McCarthy. Sounded like he had smoker's cough and, in cold weather like every day in Green Bay, that crap will wipe you out.

That being said, GB couldn't stop SF and Rodgers was many levels under Kaepernick yesterday.

Even when they're healthy, the Packers' defense still sucks.

    Brady faced Indy's D 3 times.

    Manning faced NE's D 3 times.

That in and of itself is enough to account for the difference in those stats. That and the pretty little 6-TD game Brady had against Denver last season in that gross mismatch.

It's called regressing to the mean.
