Hondo - the Jets have no chance of winning. God doesn't love me enough to make that happen for me.

No, I'm defending people who still root for teams that have bad guys on them. I'm sorry if you can't keep up.

You obviously haven't been reading the thread. I ripped the officials plenty for missed calls both ways during and after the game. Your posts might have a tad more credibility if you bothered to read what everybody else is posting.

We need more officials on the field, and they need to be better trained. This is the only major sport that doesn't have full-time officials.

Don't forget that this shit happened the last time the Jets were in Pittsburgh.

A 9-yard first down on 1st-and-10. Explain that. You can't.

More officials wouldn't help. We get detailed, slow-motion, hi-def replays and people still can't agree on controversial calls. Add in that calling holding and PI by the book would make the game unplayable.

OoP, I don't detest you like many seem to, but -- don't take this the wrong way -- I'm not real interested in earning credibility from you.

That's good. I would hate to think you were trying. Just saying you really should read the thread more carefully before you make some of these comments.

This may have been said already, but the 6 has never represented the NFC. And I want to say the Steelers in XL were the only 6 seed to represent the AFC (although maybe it's just that they were the only 6 to win it all).

I am commenting on a 9-yard first down on first-and-10, and how these things only seem to happen in Pittsburgh.

    That is still an outrage.

A one-yard mistake that benefitted the losing team. If the officials wanted to fix that game, they would have called Cromartie for illegal contact on Emmanuel Sanders in the end zone on the final play.
