But he didn't start it. He never does.

That PI call on 4th-and-1 was bullshit! Bullshit! It allowed the flood gates to open in the fourth quarter and took all the steam out of what should have been a dominating Bears performance. It was looking pretty good for next week until then. A travesty.

Your Bears-Packers link of the day ...

    (Nice fucking beret, Ditka)

Totally the right call. I can't believe Bears fans maintain to this day it was wrong.

I can't believe you have an avatar of a guy who pulled off one of the dirtiest plays in league history. Guess I shouldn't expect anything else from a bunch of deer fuckers. What's next, an avatar of Mark Chmura?

You are finally getting it. Well, with the exception of proper spelling.

Only if it's a really young deer. In a hot tub, preferably.

Ah, yes. Forgive me for not spell-checking my message board posts.

I do, of course, know the proper (sj) spelling of stillersfanboilooser.

  11. To give credit where it is due in light of yesterdays jets win over the patriots . . . I was at the doctors office this morning and picked up the nov 8 edition of SI. It was their midseason NFL edition. I was actually pretty impressed when I looked at their playoff predictions. They hit the AFC 100 percent, picking all four division winners along with the two wildcards. They had the Jets over Indy and Baltimore over KC in the first round, then they had Pitt over Balt and the Jets over NE in the second round. My only disappointment was they had the Jets beating the Steelers in the AFC title game. Anyway, I was rather impressed. I think they had Green Bay over the Jets in the SB. I didn't get a change to look at their NFC picks because I got called back, and I can't seem to find a link to post here.

Can't believe this little shot flew under the radar.

I'd stake DoubleDown's football rules knowledge as comparable to your knowledge of Battlestar Galactica, OOP. When you get in this whole fandork mode, you're really just posting without thinking.

On conspiracy theories: As a Lakers fandork, I obviously dislike referee conspiracy theories. The Triplette crew just happens to be garbage, as his history has shown:

That said, it's a weak argument to dismiss conspiracy theories by saying "WHY would the NFL want to help Big Ben!?!?!?!?"

It wouldn't. But the Rooney family is known to have a bit of pull in the league office. That should at least be acknowledged among honest individuals.
