    Is Brad Smith still out?

I agree with most of that. Rodgers is just playing so well right now that he has to be first. And Cutler absolutely belongs ahead of Sanchez.

Wait, Mizzou hates Cutler at Zagoshe-type levels now too? I missed that.

Sanchez made some bad throws early on but he came up with some big throws as the games went on. Cutler throws some awful passes; e.g. that throw that Babineaux should have intercepted at the goal line, its not even that it was off the mark, it was so bad fundamentally, flat-footed when it did not have to be.

Apparently, the Jets hurt Deion Branch's feelings.

That's very true. Cutler's decision-making can be awful. You never know if you'll get two throws like that and both will be dropped, or you might get five and four will be picks.

But his first throw of the game was 45 yards in the air to a tight end who was a step behind the defense, and he couldn't have walked down the field and put it in a better spot. He made a dozen throws in that game that Mark Sanchez (who has looked pretty good the last two games I've seen him: The Bears game and Sunday) couldn't dream of making.

If we're going to start penalizing QBs for almost-interceptions, then Tom Brady didn't come close to breaking the record for most passes between INTs and the Seahawks didn't score two of their touchdowns yesterday.

Another way to look at that Cutler pick is Johnny Knox should have broken in front of the DB and not behind, which is what you're supposed to do on a slant.

Polamalu wasn't the only starter out that day. Heath Miller sat out with a concussion from the previous week against the Ravens, which might have made the difference on the final drive when his backup Spaeth let a potential game-winning touchdown slip through his fingers in the final seconds.

Also, I'll be curious to see about Brad Smith's health. He returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown against the Steelers, whose special teams can be had for big plays. A guy like Smith can be dangerous against the Steelers.

    No.

I'm saying it's laughable for you - for many here - to call out Double Down on his knowledge of football rules.

As for the rest, meh. Not in the mood to give you any more excuses to yell and scream.

Yeah, I mentioned Miller somewhere on here, too. The Jets are vulnerable to the middle of the field, so having Miller there should help quite a bit.

I think it is a pretty even game.

Again with the picking and choosing what you will quote.

I don't care what he knows overall. He was wrong on that post. The Suggs hit was illegal by league rules and if the officials were looking to help the Steelers so much, they would have called it.

My fingers can scream and yell? Who knew? :)
