True, but they'll usually call it if it inhibits the guy's ability to break off right as the returner runs by, which it did.

    OK, it's over.

I am not a Packer fan, but I'd have to say it doesn't matter. They will be favorites and rightly so against Chicago or Seattle.

Against Chicago on the road? The line will be close.

Agree to disagree, but I think that he was getting blocked to his ass, whether the guy had jersey or not. Really looked like the bit of jersey he had didn't make a lick of difference.

    Quick searching:

No. 1 seeds losing by double digits in the divisional round since seeding began in 1975:

2009: Giants lose 23-11 to the Eagles
2000: Titans lose 24-10 to the Ravens
1992: Steelers lose 24-3 to the Bills
    1987: 49ers lose 36-24 to the Vikings

And the No. 1 seed is putting on a f'ing clinic.

Green Bay will not blow out Chicago and they very well may lose. Don't understand why anyone is glossing over the Bears when they nearly beat GB in the finale, a game that GB had to win to survive and was meaningless for the Bears.

    Agreed, IllMil.

What is odd is that the Packers are, essentailly, a dome team. They want a faster track. I think Seattle would be best...

It was a hold and a dive by Allen. I did see a replay now. Not surprised at all that it was called.

JC, are you seriously offering up "there is a hold on every play" as your argument against that call? Seriously?

I can see we're going to have to hear the whining from everybody who hates the Steelers again. Boo-fucking-hoo. The Steelers got lucky, but not because of the officiating, which was shit both ways all day. They got lucky because the Ravens shit themselves.

And I give credit to Harbaugh for taking the high road when the reporters tried to get him to complain during the post game. Hell of a lot more class than some other coaches have shown in that spot (Ahem...Mike Holmgren).
