Cutler makes a fantastic throw on a touchdown bomb, then later puts it right in a defenders hands from inside his own 5 (fortunately it was dropped). Everything about him encapsulated in one quarter.

Which ended with his team up 14-0.

    Just sayin.

Aaaaaa-men! Quarterback ratings have become one of those things our TV pals talk about waaaaaay too much, moreso than stats, it seems, but I'm betting there's very few who could tell you how its determined and what they mean. But they'll stop calling quarterbacks by their first name before they do that.

Oh by the way, the Bears scored again. Maybe I'll go back to bed until the late game

The Seahawks look like they don't even want to be out there right now.

Bears special teams has been dominating this game as well.

I didn't think I'd see a defense as outmatched as were the Falcons in the playoffs. Wrong again. And I'll probably be wrong again this evening.

I guess we know who won the Bears/Broncos trade now.

On one side, you have the smoldering ruins of a franchise, and on the other side, you've got Cutler.

Cutler's played well, but the Bears' defense and special teams are what's making this game a rout.

Cutler's had some nice moments and he's been more than good enough, but this would be middle-of-the-pack in ranking his games this year. He's not made great decisions and had some bad throws.

Just read that Jay Cutler is the first NFL quarterback to throw a TD pass on his first playoff throw. Don't know if that's true or not.

    First since Pennington in 2002.
