Who defended him? I didn't. I am repulsed by what he did. I just accept the fact you can find a lowlife on every roster in the NFL. Probably more than one. I am not completely comfortable with it, but I continue to root for my team.

I would suggest that YGBFKM and secretariat start trying to contribute something to the actual discussion of football on this thread rather than focusing on trying to start pissing matches, but I guess it is too much to expect either of them to start now.

How about "his receivers suck and maybe they should fnd a running back somewhere besides the scrap heap too because you can't throw it to a tight end on every play"?

That seven could have a different meaning in a few weeks.

He was doing a pretty good job of tearing through the NFL with those weapons most of this season. They may have gotten their backs from the scrap heap, but Green-Ellis went over 1,000 yards with a 4.4-yard-per-carry average and Woodhead averaged 5.6 per carry in a part-time role.

I can't remember a time both 1 seeds played so terribly.

Atlanta did not suprise me. The Pats shocked me.

Hopefully said talk show host will have to continue talking about the Jets right on through the Super Bowl.

Clearly the guy loathes this team. I think a lot has to do with the fact that competition is the Jets home network and seems to get preferential treatment when it comes to the guests.

Kind of the same situation that Lupica created for himself with The Yankees.

I am unfamiliar with New York as a fanbase, Boom. Are there going to be a lot of bandwagon hoppers, or are Giants fans still going to be like, "Fuck the Jets"?

I'd guess the cold weather makes it harder to throw, so I think there might be something to this because getting older makes it tougher too.

But what about Brady's complete lack of athletic talent in his legs? I think Rodgers, Roethlisberger and Vick probably fare better in this game.

Ben can't move but he doesn't go into fetal position either in the face of a blitzer.

Right but I want to say Brady was more mobile in his twenties...

I think most Giant fans will root for the Jets just as Jet fans have rooted for The Giants.

It is not like the Met / Yankee rivalry where there is a clear "fuck the Mets/ fuck the Yankees mentality.
