I'm fed up with the commercialization of pro football.
That intro with all the producers and directors and others in the trucks made me want to vomit.
Then they did that pan-in on a staged booth, with arrogant Collinsworth and Al Michaels as if they were really digging some graphic or something.
Then the damn singer kept singing "Waiting all week for Sunday Nite!"
    Bullshit.
All of it is total shit.

Vick also completed 16 of 24 passes for 175 yards and a touchdown, and added another 103 yards on the ground, against one of the best defenses in the league against the Packers. I know it's easier to say Vick's done all his work against two poor defenses, but it's not the complete truth.

It's 9 o'clock in the evening. Why the hell is Tony Sparano wearing sunglasses? He looks like Norm Macdonald imitating some jackass football coach.

That was a Packers team that did not gameplan for him at all. And the sum of GB's defense is not as good as its parts. Matthews and Woodson are great, but as a whole, it's a middle-of-the-road defense.

    What YGBFKM said.

Maybe Vick's improvement is real, but it's way too early to assume that given how many times he has flashed promise like this and then fallen back to being the same old erratic passer.

A middle-of-the-road defense that, through two games, ranks fifth in pass defense efficiency and allows an NFL-low 116.5 yards per game.

As for the game-planning, these are NFL coaches who have had eight months to prepare for Week 1. To think the Packers didn't have Vick scouted to some extent, to think they didn't have something in place in case the Eagles sprung Vick in on certain drives or special plays to take advantage of his athleticism, I'm not buying it.

Let's all sit and try to decipher the key part of this sentence.

How does San Francisco play so well against New Orleans, but get the punk beat out of them the other two games so far?
