You have to admit that it's been among the very best two-plus games anyone has had. Peyton Manning and Arian Foster being the only ones I can think of in that argument.

In lieu of the fact that I may have some actual work to do today, I'll say this....

It's not so much that I'm getting a little too excited over Vick's performance in the last couple games. It's more that I enjoy watching you take the bait every single time I post on Vick.

Sing it with me, OOP. Come on, you know the words (er, letters).....

    M-V-P!!
    M-V-P!!
    M-V-P!!

Except Manning has the body of work to back it up and I don't see anybody here drooling all over Arian Foster.

Hell, one of those performances was against the Lions. Hell, late last season the Lions even made Joe Flacco look great. (Hi Zag!)

Actually, it is you taking the bait every time I post about Vick, which is how you ended up jumping into a conversation you didn't even understand.

My God, how bad are the fucking 49ers? Pretty smart of me to have them going 13-3 this year. I suppose it's still possible, though.

    Edit: PK. OMG!

So am I a disgrace or a good guy? Or am I just a disgrace between 1 p.m and 4 p.m each Sunday? What if I secretly root for him while I'm doing my chores around the house? Like when I'm mowing my lawn, I think "Man, I sure do hope that Vick guy performs well this weekend."

    I'm so confused.

That's what happens when you post from ignorance. :)

That's fine, but the MVP award isn't a lifetime achievement award.

It's possible to say Vick has been borderline incredible for the Eagles through the early part of this season, without also meaning that he made Fran Tarkenton look like a bitch back when he was with Atlanta when that clearly did not happen.

You seem unwilling to admit Vick has been awesome so far because his history doesn't suggest he'll keep it up. But the issue isn't about whether he'll keep it up, and no one is awarding him the MVP for the season. They're simply saying he's been awesome, which he has been, and that he's now in MVP discussions based on what he's done.

Again, read the posts I was responding to. Zag was going on and on about him being an elite quarterback and one of the league's best players. That is why I have been talking about whether or not he can keep it up.

I never said he hasn't played great so far. I'm saying he has played great before, but he has never been able to sustain it. Pointing out what has happened so far is nice, I guess, but the question of whether or not it will continue is far more interesting to me.

    Why are you so ignorant?

Michael Vick has been awesome against two of the worst teams in the league. Get that MVP trophy ready! Philly is going unbeaten the rest of the way.
