Degrees of quarterback evil: Animal cruelty is one of the prime forecastingtells of violent criminal behavior against humans. Vick represents a danger to society unless he got straight in the slam (unlikely) or was just an idiot lured into evil through stronger willed and stronger brained companions (less unlikely) and therefore does not fit the habitual criminal profile.
Roethlisberger is a POTENTIAL threat to human beings, women human beings. Two incidents like this mean he is trouble walking and any woman with sense would leave a room or city in which he appeared. But he hasn't yet pushed the envelope into a chargeable offense.
What's the over on when that happens? 2012? If I were the Steelers, I'd make him spend the offseason in a monastery under armed guard.

Your characterization of Roethlisberger is a pretty good one, except he may have committed a chargeable offense and simply gotten away with it due to a lack of evidence.

Your characterization of Vick is bullshit. He wasn't a child when he was doing these things. He was an adult, responsible for his actions. He wasn't ignorant of the pain and suffering his activities brought on those animals. Funny thing about dogs. They let you know how they feel pretty easily.

You want to say he feels bad now and he has changed? Fine. I don't buy it, but I can understand that point of view. But the excuse making is just ridiculous.

Wow, that was quick. GB marches right down the field on their first drive. Rodgers finds Jennings for the TD.

Man, a terrible Cutler pass gets picked in the end zone.

Wait a second ... Greg Olson didn't get up with possession of the ball. How can that be a TD? [/crackingopenthatcanoworms]

Lovie clearly didn't learn his lesson on opening day.

Kick The Fucking Field Goal next time.

I hope Rodgers throws a 99-yard TD here. Fuck this team and its emotionally dead coach.

Going for it was the right call, unlike last time, imo. Not his fault the tight end dropped a wide-open pass.

Julius Peppers has climbed inside of Mark Tauscher's head.

You know what the Packers need? More false start and delay of game penalties.

The Bears are going to win this game.
