Don't you deer fuckers know a lateral has to be thrown backwards?

That always makes sense. But has any team ever actually done it?

Jay Cutler's game-winning drive? You mean having one interception dropped and a second one overturned by a 40-yard pass interference penalty?

Jesus fucking Christ, do some of these people even watch the games?

The Packers did against the Broncos in the Super Bowl

    Yeah, that worked out perfectly.

Loved how even the ref said, "All right, that's enough" after the second forward lateral.

    Are you Phil Mushnick?

No. The people actually televising the game don't watch the game and are out of touch with what's going on.

    Well... you have:
    - there is 1:30 on the clock, you have one timeout, a porous defense and the likelihood of a Robbie Gould FG inside the 10 with :15 left on the clock. Gould NEVER misses against Green Bay inside 40 yards. NEVER.
    - Or...down 7 but with Rodgers and the receivers and 1:30 on the clock, with a timeout left.

I would take Option 2 every single time.

    Sidebar:
Remember the Vick discussion 10 pages back? I wonder if Andy Reid is sitting in his office, awaiting the phone call from his kids demanding bail money, now scratching Green Bay off his list of unbeatable teams.

"Let's see," Reid says to himself. "New Orleans is shaky, Green Bay still has terrible game coaching and clock management, Chicago still has Lovie coaching, Minnesota's QB will be on crutches by Halloween, Atlanta might be a threat, our division sucks, the NFC West sucks. Yup, I'm staying with Vick the rest of the year. We are officially done with rebuilding."

A fix? Really? You're more retarded than McCarthy's play challenge acumen.

Let's see - touchdown called back to holding, missed field goal, at least three interceptions either dropped or overturned, an idiot fumbles on the sideline, a wasted time-out on a stupid challenge, 17 penalties, allowing a punt return for a touchdown because your kicker is too much of an idiot to kick to one sideline or the other, not allowing the other team to score so you have about 1:40 to play and a chance to tie.

This is one of the worst performances by a coaching staff and team in a long, long time or like I said, someone, somewhere had a lot of money on the Bears.

    What a joke.

That last kickoff play was so idiotic, the Bears would have been wise to just walk off the field to avoid a possible injury - all it was missing was someone trying a bicycle kick.

The basic rule in football is to keep yourself in the game as long as possible. I would have allowed the TD.
