Bears probably shouldn't run prevent offense on this possession.

Two good runs, then throw a pass behind the line of scrimmage.

That clicking sound you hear is millions of remotes turning back to the game.

It's such a crazy story. I think he went to Centennial or Westwood High in Fort Pierce, FL

Mack was a basketball kid that hit a growth stunt and a leg injury. Plays football as a senior and had a great season but didn't do any offseason camps or anything and had no recruiting traction. The coach contacted a friend of mine and sent him a highlight clip real late in the recruiting process (about Christmas time). He is trying to get Mack some 1-AA offers and the only schools that were biting were a couple of HBCUs, maybe South Carolina State and like Alcorn State...but a coach from UB called him and said they were looking for some linebackers after a couple kids decommitted for better known programs. He emailed him Mack's film and they pretty much offered him off the film and took him sight unseen.

Yeah, not one I'd go to the mattresses over. But think going for it was the still the better call.
They did get the ball back and score, and it's a 2-score game. If they'd gone and missed, then got the ball back and scored, it's still a 2 score game (20-7).
Again, not a something I think is a terrible call either way. But seems like difference between down 17 and down 20 was small enough that I'd have chased the upside of going for it.

How is the clock running? Trubisky didn't run out of bounds?

Fair enough. I just figured since it was fourth-and-9 that you kick it, take the points, and start chipping away. I think they were still around the 15 or 20, so it's not an easy conversion either for a first down or touchdown.
And now here we are, right where they need to be to pull this thing out.

Throwing there was not smart. The Bears are going to lose with 10 seconds left because of it.
