It's going to be overlooked all year again, but the Denver defense is really good.

Awesome. I'm in his backyard wearing all black, a horse's head and lipstick. Just need a boost to the bathroom window.

Beat Atlanta in Atlanta next week then you can say the Broncos are back

Yep, credit John Fox. Defense was pathetic two years ago.

The Falcons are soft. Miller and Co. can rattle Matty Nice.

Three straight sacks of Roethlisberger? Maybe there is a God.

This is the one thing that has been obvious tonight. Just watching Manning, the way he's directing these guys and making adjustments on the fly pre-snap, is awesome to watch. Some of his throws haven't been as crisp as Peyton Manning circa 2004, but he's getting his guys in exactly the right spots. The best part is, you can see the Broncos responding to it. They're flying around, hustling on and off the field, getting where they're supposed to be.
Basically, watching them do the little things like flip the ball to the right official to get a quick spot and keep the no-huddle humming is like watching the Colts of the past decade.

The Tebowing after the last one was a nice tribute to the one who made it all possible, the one whose career died for the Broncos' sins.

    Looked it up. Correct.

Agreed, though I was surprised how little pressure they got on Roethlisberger until that final drive, especially after Pittsburgh lost two starters up front. The Steelers looked good at times against them, but that's going to happen with that quarterback and those receivers.

Pittsburgh's defense, on the other hand, looks like crap. Getting Clark and Harrison back should help, but man, that group was lousy tonight.

How shocking. The team that beat the Steelers in the playoffs last year improved itself and beat them by even more the next time.

Steelers and Browns tied for last!

Del Rio addition is big too.

Sense of relief at the higher elevation tonight. 50-50 game going in. 31 points? Needed three-plus games last year to get that (sans playoff miracle).
