    Ravens have to score here.

I’m not trying to be argumentative, I’ve been in and out of this game but what did I miss coaching wise?

Passed up a pair of long but makable field goal tries. One for a punt to pin them back that promptly got nullified by a secondary buts for a long touchdown. One for a failed fourth-down attempt to set up another Ravens score.

Just like on Monday, you had to go for two.

They failed to benefit the Steelers.

I saw the 4th and 2 where they went for it. I had no problem with them going for it there, the play call wasn’t great.

I was still on radio driving home then. Just taking a stab at what I thought he meant.

Al was very blunt at the end and he's right, how it's so frustrating that every game comes down to what's called and what's not. If Burrow was more of a whiner, he'd have gotten the face mask call on the 2-pt try. And the defensive holding on Gesicki was blatant.

Bengals shouldn't have been in that position and all, I know, but these fucking zebras.

A missed qb facemask call on the Vikings final TNF drive a couple of weeks ago, and two missed qb facemask calls on the final drive tonight. Wow.

They had the ball in field goal range with a one-point lead. They threw deep on third-and-two and missed, then threw deep again on fourth down. They gave away three points in a game they lost by one. I didn't know that when I posted it, but I strongly suspected that going for it there was a mistake. If they were going for it, it should have been designed to pick up the first down, not another deep shot.

I just hope the Bengals are as generous in their two games with the Steelers as they have been in the two against the Ravens. in both, they had the lead and the ball and had killer turnovers. In both, they made stupid decisions late that cost them dearly.

Of course, it helped the Ravens that the officials missed two penalties on the two-point conversion at the end.

Silly me thinking they might want to benefit themselves instead of giving away yet another division game. The Bengals could very easily be 6-4, a game up on the Ravens for second place in the AFC North with two games against the Steelers still on the schedule. Taylor's blunders in both games are a big reason they are four games out in the division.

The hold was clear, but missing the blow to Burrow's face was inexcusable.
