My boss has quite the stakes.

He did a 4 teamer for $15. Money line.

    Jets. Dolphins. Vikings.

    Tonight... Seahawks.

$15 will pay $1764 if it hits.

He started texting me on what to hedge once the Miami game hit.

He hedged the Cowboys for a little at +260 when it was 14-0.

He wants to ride out Seattle tonight but I’ve said if it gets 49ers under -170 to probably start to buy it back.

How much do you hedge for in that situation? A couple hundred?
I get the concept of hedging, but have a hard time figuring out what amounts are appropriate.

When you're at the point where hedge opportunities must be discussed, you've done good.

49ers are -250 right now. He said he’s nervous.

I said once you hedge, it done.

He’s getting greedy and wanting the Seahawks to go up big early and try to get plus money.

In life, you almost never hit a +11760 parlay.

Kyle Long clearly can't add for shit. The Vikings haven't lost 13 games in Cousins' season-plus there and I'm positive they won at least three outdoor games last season. 4-25 vs. teams with a winning record sounds pretty accurate.

Not advocating for him. Look at my history on here and I've been as critical as anyone of him, especially when he was going through his final year in Washington. But he has responded with strong performances the first time he actually had teammates call him out and demand that he play better, so I'm curious to see if this is a turning point in his career.

It’s the Zimmer factor. He constantly beats the expectations as a head coach. Especially outside of the division. Zimmer covers the spread 74% outside of the NFC North.

Cousins is a flawed QB, as almost all of them are, but the rush to crucify him often ignores facts. He won at Philadelphia last year, would have won at Green Bay (35-48, 425 yds, 4 TDs) if Daniel Carlson hadn't had the yips, and certainly wasn't the problem when they lost to the Rams (36-50, 422 yds, 3 TDs).

The Vikings have a bigger problem than Cousins right now, and it's on the other side of the ball. If they don't get pressure, which increasingly they haven't been able to, the secondary can't cover anybody.

You didn’t even get them all. Hekker threw a pass on a fake punt that was intercepted by a running back, Trey Edmunds.

It might have been his time in Washington and Minnesota combined together, then. Can't remember the exact stat, unfortunately, because I listened to it seven days ago at this point.
