Kenny vaccaro killed the Saints in that game. Whiffing on tackles again and deserted his safety spot on the critical 4th and 10 late in the game. He has plateaued this year. Hope it's just a sophomore slump.

No, I'm not looking at it the wrong way. You are arguing for the sake of being a troll.

These are bad teams that, in most cases, went right back to playing like crap immediately after the Steelers lost to them. That includes the Bucs this year. These weren't losses in which Pittsburgh got pushed around or simply got beat. These are flurries of sloppy mistakes. In today's game alone, they turned the ball over four times against a defense that had forced only three all season. A kicker who had been outstanding missed a 23-yard field goal. In addition to the two interceptions, Roethlisberger botched a shotgun snap to ruin his team's last realistic shot to win. They also had a dropped interception on defense.

Of those errors, the Jets forced maybe one of them. The first interception was a nice play on a throw to Bryant that was very similar to one of Roethlisberger's touchdown passes during the winning streak. You've got an offense that accounted for 12 touchdown passes the last two weeks against a defense that can't cover even with a decent pass rush. Sorry, but the results should be better.

Sure, this is a flawed team. Part of the inconsistency on offense is due to being forced to rely on two young guys, Wheaton and Bryant, at receiver. They still had enough to beat the Jets if they don't "kick their own butts," as Tomlin so eloquently put it. When a team makes so many sloppy mistakes so often, any rational observer has to wonder about the coaches as well as the players.

Have it your way- fire the 42-year-old coach with a .631 winning percentage.
Sometimes your "sloppy mistakes" are an effect of the other team executing.
Jesus Mary and St. Joseph- do I really need to explain this?

I like how Mangold handled it, actually.

Eli is cutting up the Seahawk defense. Has there ever been such an essentially good QB with so many rotten games? Or do I mean essentially mediocre QBs with so many great games?

Funny that he deleted this post. If he really did watch the games and this is his analysis, that simply proves that fart boy knows nothing about football.

There are errors that are forced by an opponent and there are errors that are the result of sloppy play. I'm sorry that you are too clueless about football to spot the difference.

The Jets didn't force a good kicker to miss a 23-yard field goal. They didn't force Roethlisberger to botch a shotgun snap right in his hands. They didn't force an ugly interception early in the third quarter when he had no pressure on him at all. Those are just a few of the sloppy mistakes that had absolutely nothing to do with the Jets. But hey, keep insisting on demonstrating your ignorance of football, fart boy.

The other team is trying to win, too, you understand, little one.
What you know about football wouldn't float in a bathtub.
