Cutler is no All-Pro, but when a team's given up more than 50 points in consecutive games, it'd be nuts to see its quarterback as its biggest problem.

Turnovers. When you lose turnovers 0 to 4 and still only lose by 8, that's not that bad.

Has Ditka ever said he wouldn't give coaching (or the Bears) another shot?

Well, to be fair, both of those games were against teams that could very easily be playing in the Super Bowl in February.

I think they have no choice but to just let the rest of the season unfold, unravel or whatever, but I don't see how they can move forward with Cutler at QB. Trestman is supposed to be the QB whisperer and if he can't get through to Cutler, maybe Cutler is this generation's Jeff George.

Yeah, the Bears defense sucks, but they ran into one of the best QBs in the NFL playing perfect football. Rodgers is the example of everything you want in a QB. The Packers' defense is typically pretty awful itself. I was expecting 35-21 Packers.

    I really hope you're joking.

You can't see him coaching again?

Maybe the Bears will hire Shanahan and see if Cutler will listen to him again. :D

Maybe the Bears will enter the Pep Hamilton sweepstakes at the end of the season since he appears to be the assistant everybody's going to want.

    Why not? He's only 75.

Even Marv Levy was done by 72.

75? Didn't think he was on his deathbed. Looks great for 75. Time flies. Thought he was early 60s or something.

He retired as an NFL player in 1972.
