Have they ever played in China? I remember one or two preseason games in Tokyo, but not China.

Come to think of it, I can't remember a game in Australia, either.

    I can buy that.

It's actually BEING at an an NFL game that sucks.

Not sure about Australia, but I don't think the NFL is all that big in China. The NBA had a huge first-mover advantage and retains it, with baseball coming up because of the countrymen who have made the bigs.

Travel is also pretty prohibitive to China, even for preseason. The advantage of London is that a flight from the East Coast is barely longer than what it would take to get from New York to Seattle or San Francisco. For Beijing you're talking well over 12 hours. Hardly seems worth it.

If there are not good divisions, doesn't that render your statement that the AFC North "Isn't that good" completely meaningless?

But hey, if you want to line yourself up with Mark, go for it.

Your dispute with Mark is between you and him. Leave Fart out of it.
Semantics is your favorite card to play on this board- you're going to have to find another taker there, too, fool.

Translation. Fart boy is guilty on both counts. Thank you and have a nice night.

My point, which you missed entirely, is that tonight's game is arguably the best of the week given the records of the team and the stakes.

I guess it's sort of an untapped market in terms of merchandising and such. No idea what the TV situation is over in the UK. But three regular-season games per year does seem a bit much.

The Chargers played an exhibition game in Australia (Melbourne, IIRC) in 1999. Can't recall if there have been any others.

Hey, I give the AFC North credit for being balanced. Any of three teams could win it. But I don't see a Super Bowl entrant coming from that group. I still think the AFC West --- Raiders notwithstanding --- is the toughest division and Denver, San Diego and Kansas City will all wind up in the playoffs again.

Are you really getting fresh with your liege?
On paper, maybe. But none of these TNF games have been good but one.
(I constructed that for you to parse semantically.)

God, Dalton has been awful so far.

I'm sorry. You didn't catch that you were dismissed as easily as the failed point you tried to make?

    :)
