This isn't evolution - it's Devolution. Maybe next week Tebow can come out wearing an Energy Dome, or Booji Boy can be in the owner's box with Elway.

Which makes it all the more hilarious.

No offense, but you're part of the fun.

Really? You think every Broncos fan who doesn't want to self-flagellate over Tebow's success is insane? Getting upset when your favorite team loses doesn't seem too rational.

I wouldn't have cared about Tebow except for all the complainers. Watching them get upset after every win is hilarious.

Difference is Tebow has just 1 turnover in 5 games. That's a half worth of turnovers for Sanchize

You, of all people, should love the guy. He's the new Vince Young. All he does is win!

One thing's for sure: the weekly NFL thread on SportsJournalists.com never got to nine pages this quickly on the basis of a Thursday night NFL Network telecast.

I've really grown to love the way Tebow drives the NFL establishment bat shit insane. The NFL is so rigid and so cookie cutter, a big percentage of people can't wrap their heads around the idea that his ability to scramble and run helps compensate for the fact that he's wildly inaccurate. I kind of love the fact that Fox decided to focus on what Tebow can do instead of bitching and pouting about what he's not. Almost every NFL coach has a little tantrum when a player doesn't fit into his system. But the truth is, if you're a good enough coach, you can find a way to coach and use TT.

All the in-your-face Christianity stuff is not my thing at all. But I sort of enjoy rooting for him because as a player, not a man, he's anti-establishment. I'd love to see him get a whole offseason and camp and 16 starts. Hell, a lot more time has been wasted on guys who cared far less.

Maybe he's not a starter. Maybe he's a change of pace guy or a red zone weapon. But I think there is room for him in the league doing SOMETHING.

It's not a culture clash or or a miracle or proof that God exists as Brian Phillips mulled on Grantland. It's just athletic improvisational football. And in a league where so much is controlled and regimented and stiff, I kind of love it.

See, that's all Tebow is -- backyard, draw-up-plays-in-the-dirt football. You go out, you go out and you go out, and I'll run around and try to make something happen. And if you can't have a little fun with that, well, I kind of feel sorry for you.

When it blows up, it blows up. Meanwhile, lighten up Francis, and laugh a little.

John Fox is rapidly ascending to coach-of-the-year status, though we're talking about a guy who nearly won a Super Bowl with Jake Delhomme, so he has experience squeezing success out of marginal QBs.

So many coaches think their genius is fitting everyone in their "system," or making sure you get your guys and to hell with everyone else. Fox had Tebow, whom he did not select, and has found a way to make chicken salad out of chickenshit. He emphasizes what Tebow does well, which is certainly not passing. Fox has the defense in the position of keeping the team in games, and using the frequent running game to grind out time so no one gets a big lead. Though even Fox can't coach the other team continually biting itself in the ass. But he's got Tebow NOT turning the ball over.

The other thing Fox is running with is other coaches' inability or lack of desire to adjust what they do for a week. It's half the reason Air Force wins so many games. You would think opposing coaches would know by now that Tebow ain't throwing much, but all these coaches can't seem to believe what's happening.

My only problem with Tebow is that I have Denver in a shitty QB fantasy league, and he hasn't been the suck-ass I've counted on.

Ha! I did ponder the incongruity of it all. Then I realized that the racist Florida fanboi yokel who hates Vince Young loves Lord Tebow, and it kind of validated why I can't stand Tebow.
