This is exactly where I stand, Double Down.

I'm not the biggest NFL fan, precisely because it has turned into the Arena Football League much of the time. Everybody runs the same cover-2 based defenses, everybody runs the same wide receiver screen passes and has exactly three plays out of its "wildcat" formation.

The Denver offense is different and fun to watch, for all the reasons mentioned by DD.

The NFL has just announced that for the rest of the season Bronco game telecasts will only be available in black and white.

I heartily endorse every word of this. It pretty much covers exactly why I've jumped on the Tebow bandwagon.

I don't believe the Tebow success will last for long---in fact, each week I expect to be the end of it--but, damn, it's fun while it lasts, especially because of the way it aggravates the folks who think they know everything there is to know about what does and doesn't work in the NFL.

It's going to be weird when Fox benches Tebow for Rob Johnson in that first playoff game.

You're going to grow to love Tebow someday. Give it time. ;D

When the end result is a win, who the fuck cares how you get there?

I'm enjoying the Tebow story if only because of the countless "can't miss prototypical NFL quarterbacks" who have been blessed by the NFL establishment and washed out in three years.
Maybe the haters were kind of right - maybe Tebow can't be "an NFL quarterback" but he can play qb in the NFL and win.

All he does is win. We know what Herm Edwards said. We know what Al Davis said. The ends are justifying the means, even if it has a bunch of panties in a wad. There's a shit ton of NFL teams "doing it the right way" who would kill to be on a 4-1 stretch with their QB.

Tebow is the reverse Lebron ... sucks for 3 quarters then balls in the 4th.

For some enterprising Denver musician, there's a song parody to Eric Clapton's "Tulsa Time' to be had.
