His team wins. Baseball people seem to have learned how overrated wins are as a measure of a starting pitcher. They are an even worse way to evaluate an NFL quarterback.

The fact that he's done this to his Winner predecessors Kyle Orton and Mark Sanchez makes it all the more awesome to me.

If the Broncos are still unfortunate enough to be starting Tebow in a year, they'll get beat by some other crappy quarterback and everyone will say how the Broncos wish they had a winner like that guy instead of just Tebow.

Carroll County Times reporting Ray Lewis has not practiced for two days and will not play Sunday - and maybe beyond - because of a toe injury.

You're comparing apples to jelly fish.

Winning is a terrible way to judge success in professional sports.

No, I'm really not. In both cases, there are far better ways to judge the athlete than just victories by his team. But you could make the argument that a starting pitcher in baseball still has a bigger impact on that particular game than a quarterback does. They may be the most important player on the field, but it is still the most team-oriented of the major sports.

Winning is a great way to measure teams, YGBFKM, but far too simplistic for measuring the performance of individuals on those teams.

Tebow leads the offense on game winning drives. Sure, the defense helps put the team in a position for that to happen, and that shouldn't be underestimated. But Tebow does his part too. Comparing him to some starting pitcher who gives up five runs in five innings but vultures a win because he has the 1927 Yankees hitting in the other half of the inning is silly. He may do it in an unorthodox manner, but Tebow still does it.

The new Vince Young, minus the bar fights, Prozac, bad work ethic and sub-zero Wonderlic score.

I've never seen any player, offense-defense-qb-running back - get the love that Tebow gets from his teammates after leading them to victory. Its quite astounding.

I've never seen an NFL coach after such a great victory so joyless as John
Fox in his post game presser last night.

He seemed like a coach who realized that he is destine to be stuck with a QB that he does not want to run his offense.

I'm a huge Jet fan and found myself rooting for the Broncos to score on last drive. I love when the conventional group think of The NFL gets tossed on it's ear.
